Being an idependent learner

Being an independent learner means to :

This is all important for me to become an independent learner, because this will all prepare me for the future in my work and in my social life; making me happy and enjoy what I do therefore exceeding and finding more. I will gain confidence in speaking and finding my own resources, I will also be confident to find work and show my potential. This will then help me to achieve me academically and professionally, I will be able to reach out to professionals independently forming connections and moving up in the world.

How to reflect:

  • What am I learning?
  • Why am I learning it and how?
  • How will I use the information from lectures?
  • My strengths and weaknesses
  • Learning priorities
  • Learning process; improve and build on
  • Make long term, mid term an short term goals
  • Be motivated
  • Show my skills from different components of learning
  • Be initiative
  • Always write down words/terms and quotes that interest me, that I don't understand and expand on them
  • reflect early-time management
Problems :
  • What was challenging?
  • What were the main problems?
  • What did it change?
New learning:
  • What did it change?
  • What did I learn?
  • Did it change the way I think?
Action :
  • Do I need to change?
  • practice
  • what are my gap in my knowledge
Summarise on these, and write a brief description to reflect on tasks.

My personal short term goal is to complete all my university work and exceed the expectations given o me, this means being independent and finding research for many resources.

My personal mid term goal is to complete all work and graduate with a 2.1 or higher. This is something I really aspire to, and will help me further my career after university.

My personal long term goal is to enter into my dream job as working in the film industry as a makeup artist, I must always push myself to exceed in uni to become the best there is and get my job!
